How can we help?

Everything you need to know about GRA's professional card grading.

AI Technology

What is AI-powered grading?
Our proprietary AI algorithms analyze ultra-high-resolution scans of your cards for centering, surface integrity, edges, and corners with sub-pixel precision. Unlike human graders, our AI is never tired, biased, or inconsistent, ensuring a 100% objective grade every single time.
How accurate is the GRA grading system?
Our system has been trained on millions of certified card samples. It detects microscopic scratches and imperfections that are often invisible to the naked eye, providing a level of detail and consistency that human-only services cannot match.

Logistics & Service

How long does grading take?
Because our proprietary processes cards significantly faster than traditional methods, we offer industry-leading turnaround times. Standard service takes 5-7 business days, while our Express tier returns your cards in just 48 hours.
How do I ship my cards?
We will mail you an individually-labeled return parcel. Each card should be placed in the provided sleeve and placed in its intended, labeled protective envelope. Put all of the card envelopes in the larger return package (envelop or box, depending on your order size) using the included prepaid return label, and send it back to us.

Card Eligibility

What cards do you accept?
We currently grade all major TCGs including Pokémon, Magic: The Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, and Disney Lorcana. We also support standard-sized sports cards (NBA, NFL, MLB). For oversized or specialty cards, please contact support before submitting.

Pokémon Card Rarity

What do the rarity symbols on my Pokémon certificate mean?

For Pokémon cards, GRA prints the card's rarity symbol on the front of the certificate — at the top, to the right of the GRA logo. This symbol mirrors the rarity marking printed on the card itself, so collectors can confirm a card's rarity at a glance without removing it from the slab.

The legend to the right shows each rarity we recognize and the exact symbol that appears on the certificate. Rarity is detected automatically during identification and reviewed before printing. Cards that are not Pokémon, or whose rarity cannot be determined, are printed without a rarity symbol.

Legend of Pokémon card rarities and the symbols GRA prints on certificates: Common, Uncommon, Rare, Double Rare, Ultra Rare, Illustration Rare, Special Illustration Rare, Hyper Rare, Mega Hyper Rare, ACE SPEC Rare, Shiny Rare, Shiny Ultra Rare, and Promo.
